Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3

Lay the bacon slices on the baking sheet.

Step 4

Sprinkle SWEEETHEAT Southern Spice Blend over the bacon.

Step 5

Bake the bacon for 15 minutes.

Step 6

While the bacon is baking, wash, trim the Brussels sprouts, and cut in half lengthwise.

Step 7

Place the sprouts into the cast iron skillet.

Step 8

Add the bacon drippings to the cast iron skillet.

Step 9

Sprinkle SWEEETHEAT All Purpose Rub over the Brussel sprouts.

Step 10

Chop up the bacon and add it to the cast iron skillet.

Step 11

Mix well.

Step 12

Place cast iron skillet into the over.

Step 13

Roast for 10 minutes, stir and roast for another 10 minutes.

Step 14

Serve hot or warm.
